Specifically, we have four main areas of business: 1. Scrap Trade Facilitation Services: We connect scrap sellers and buyers worldwide, matching them with the best trading partners and facilitating transactions. Currently, we achieve a monthly average of 3,000 to 5,000 tons of scrap transactions; 2. Recycling Factory Management Software: We provide SaaS software and mobile apps with diverse functions for large, medium, and small factories, offering one-stop management of data including inventory, quality, price, and costs; 3. Customized Services for Key Clients: We offer personalized solutions and implementation services for large enterprises, such as Fortune 500 companies, in waste disposal, recycled resource procurement, and ESG project advancement; 4. AI Vision Recognition and Large Language Model: We organically integrate AI vision recognition and large language model technology into the aforementioned businesses, providing our clients with the most advanced technical support.
What kind of Platform is Doctor Scrap?	Our platform connects buyers and sellers worldwide to facilitate transactions and follows up on contract execution until goods inspection and final payment settlement. You can think of us as the 'Taobao' or 'Amazon' of the bulk scrap field, where we do not hold stock ourselves but match transactions and provide related services.
What is the business mode of Doctor Scrap Platform？	Step 1: Trade Facilitation. We match the selling needs of sellers with the buying needs of buyers, negotiating prices, terms, and other details for each specific offer until both parties reach an agreement. Our primary trade term is CIF, meaning the seller is responsible for delivering goods to the port, and the buyer is responsible for customs clearance. Step 2: Contract Fulfillment. As an intermediary, we sign contracts with both the buyer and seller to clarify the various terms related to the goods and transaction. We then follow up on the entire process, including shipment, shipping, payment, and electronic release, until the final payment is settled and the goods are received. Step 3: After-sales Service. After the buyer receives the goods, we will follow up on the quality of the goods. In case of claims, we will objectively promote a proper resolution from a third-party perspective.
What fees does Doctor Scrap charge?	As a third-party platform, we charge platform service fees to both buyers and sellers separately. · Depending on the value of the goods, the standard platform service fee is divided into two tiers: $20/ton and $10/ton; · According to customer needs, the service fee can be directly reflected in the payment or listed separately; · We only charge service fees to both buyers and sellers after a transaction is completed. If no transaction occurs, we do not charge any fees; · If additional services are required (such as customs declaration, freight, etc.), we will charge corresponding fees to cover the respective costs.
How does Doctor Scrap guarantee the credibility of suppliers?	First of all, the suppliers on the platform have all undergone strict review and certification by us. We conduct comprehensive background checks on their business qualifications, industry reputation, and basic information. Our colleagues in the United States and Europe also conduct on-site visits to factories, prioritizing the introduction of such suppliers to ensure product quality. At the same time, we leverage the platform's advantages to disclose the transaction history and reputation data of each supplier on the platform. You can view the relevant data on the product details page of each item. Additionally, buyers sign contracts with our platform, so we act as a guarantor to some extent. In the event of a passive situation, the platform will step in to resolve it properly. Finally, we have established a blacklist system. For suppliers with bad conduct during contract execution, we enforce a "one incident, lifetime blacklist" policy to protect buyers' rights.
How does Doctor Scrap execute background checks for new suppliers?	For new supplier audits, we consider five aspects: 1. We require the supplier to provide a full set of business licenses, trade license qualifications, and other documents, and verify their authenticity. 2. We conduct reputation checks within the industry and require at least two positive reviews from buyers who have purchased their products, while any negative reviews will result in disqualification. 3. We check if they are registered members of associations like ReMA (formerly ISRI), BIR, and CMRA. 4. We consider whether the supplier is familiar to our founder, Tan Tian, based on his over ten years of industry experience. 5. If necessary, we arrange for our staff in North America, Europe, or China to conduct on-site inspections of their material yards.
How does Doctor Scrap handle claims?	In case of a claim, the platform will stand in an objective and fair position to actively promote the claim. As long as you can provide detailed videos, photos, inspection reports, and other evidence, and the data is true and valid, we will do our best to protect your interests. If necessary, we will also send a representative to your site to check the goods. In case of dishonest merchants, the platform will take responsibility.
How does Doctor Scrap guarantee the credibility of buyers?	First, registered buyers on the platform are strictly reviewed and certified by us. We conduct a comprehensive background check on their business qualifications, industry reputation, and basic situation. At the same time, we leverage the platform's advantages to disclose the transaction history and credit data of each buyer on the platform. You can see the relevant data on every quote you receive. Additionally, sellers sign contracts with our platform, which provides a certain level of guarantee or backing. If any passive situation arises, the platform will step in to resolve it appropriately. Finally, we have established a blacklist system. For buyers with bad records during the performance process, we adopt a "one incident leads to lifetime blacklisting" policy to ensure sellers' rights.
How do I buy materials through Doctor Scrap platform?	There are two ways for you to choose from. 1. You can use our Doctor Scrap APP, mini program, or website to go to the 'Buy Goods' page, browse the goods you are interested in, and make an offer; the seller will receive your offer and either counteroffer or confirm, and we will assist in the matchmaking. 2. You can also inform us of the goods you are interested in, and we will provide customized recommendations through WeChat groups, WhatsApp groups, or emails. You can make offers in the group or email, and we will assist in matchmaking. If the match is successful, we will sign a contract with you, specify the relevant terms, and follow up on the performance until you receive the goods and provide corresponding after-sales service.
How do I sell materials through Doctor Scrap platform?	There are two ways for you to sell goods on our platform. 1. You can use our Doctor Scrap APP, mini program, or website to go to the 'Sell Goods' page and post your products. Buyers will quote your products, and you can bargain or confirm the prices, and we will help you with the matchmaking. 2. You can also send the product information and images to us via WeChat group, WhatsApp group, or email, and we will help you post them on the platform and forward the received quotes to you while assisting in matchmaking. If the matchmaking is successful, we will sign a contract with you to specify the relevant terms and conditions, and follow up on the fulfillment until you receive the full payment, providing corresponding after-sales services.
What trade terms can Doctor Scarp support?	Our main trade terms are CIF/CNF, which means the seller is responsible for delivering the goods to the destination port, and the buyer is responsible for customs clearance. We also support FAS, where the seller delivers the goods to the ship's side, and the buyer takes care of the subsequent steps. Additionally, we can help bridge the gap between the terms if the buyer can cover the extra costs.
What payment terms does Doctor Scrap support?	Our main payment method is T/T (Telegraphic Transfer) in USD, with a majority of cases requiring around 20% deposit and the balance to be cleared before the goods arrive at the port, followed by the release of the shipping documents. Each transaction will have clearly defined payment terms, including deposit percentage and payment timeline.
How do I sign contracts?	After the deal is closed, TTYY International Limited, the Hong Kong-registered company of Doctor Scrap, will separately sign contracts with both the buyer and the seller to specify the relevant terms and conditions of the goods and transaction.
How does Doctor Scrap's AI recognition function work?	At present, we offer multiple AI recognition modes for scrap materials, including identification of scrap categories, metal/impurity content, wire cross-sections, and segmentation of copper alloy categories. Currently, our recognition accuracy for scrap categories, copper, aluminum, and wire cross-sections can reach over 95%; more categories are being trained gradually.
How to cooperate with Doctor Scrap on AI systems?	Currently, different clients have various collaboration methods with us in AI recognition, including App subscriptions, SaaS systems, and scale cameras.
