#1 Copper Wire refers to high-purity copper wire scrap that has no alloys, insulation, coatings, or other types of contaminants. #1 Copper Wire and Bare Bright Copper are actually very similar, referring to high-purity copper wire scrap, but with some subtle differences, mainly in appearance and condition. #1 Copper Wire also represents high-purity copper scrap, but with a slightly looser standard than Bare Bright Copper. #1 Copper Wire can include Bare Bright Copper, but also includes copper wire that may not be as shiny as Bare Bright Copper but still has no coatings, paints, or significant oxidation.
