A water tank head generally refers to a component that connects the radiator to the water tank on an automobile, typically made of iron or aluminum. When sold separately, it usually contains a certain amount of copper.
The following image shows the details of an aluminum water tank head after removal of the water tank. It includes an iron sheet for fixing the water tank and a portion of a copper pipe.
