In the scrap industry, the term "tools" refers to a category of scrap primarily comprising electric drills, power tools, and general hardware tools. Examples include electric saws, drills, spray guns, staple guns, etc. Their common characteristic is their mixed composition. The casing is disassembled by hand, and most of the time, the value of the casing is used to speculate on the price of the goods. In terms of value, aluminum casings > plastic casings > iron casings. Typically, these can yield copper content ranging from 3%-5%, while aluminum, iron, or plastic content is not necessarily consistent.
