Scrap Wiki
The primary value in computer keyboards lies in the plastic, which is of a type similar to that found in router casings. The main raw materials are ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene plastic), POM (Polyoxymethylene resin), and PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate plastic); these types of plastics are of higher value. The scrap price for mechanical keyboard waste ranges from 270 USD to 410 USD per ton.
The value points for recycling mice are similar, being circuit boards + plastic, but the content of circuit boards is much higher. The current price is around 685 USD per ton.
