Relays are common source components on circuit boards, often disassembled separately and sold as a type of electronic scrap. The value of relays lies in the copper coils and silver contacts inside. The copper content in relays is around 20%, and the silver ratio is approximately 1‱. Relays can be manually disassembled or crushed through shredding processing or manual disassembly. After crushing, there is a tiny amount of gold and silver. Among various relays, those in vehicles have a higher copper content and better value.
